The Spa Pure Fill pre-filter uses ion exchange resins to convert calcium and magnesium to sodium via ion exchange, resulting in mineral water quality water.

Note: Using Spa Pure Fill is not the same as using a water softener. This pre-filter deionizes calcium and renders it harmless to your system.
